Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at NOREX VENTURES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dump truck in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck to transport goods and materials to various locations
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Load and unload goods and materials in a safe and efficient manner
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as required
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and warehouses. The work environment will be physically demanding, with regular exposure to heavy equipment and hazardous materials.
