Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at NOREX VENTURES INC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dump truck to transport goods to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck to transport goods to various locations
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
