Job Summary

The Senior Alumni and Donor Engagement Specialist is a key role within Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Advancement division, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to engage alumni and donors. This position involves creating and managing alumni and donor programs, building online communities, coordinating events, and leading volunteer initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engagement strategies that align with institutional goals and drive alumni and donor participation.
  • Collect and interpret data to inform decision-making, measure program effectiveness, and refine engagement efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate initiatives and ensure alignment with overall institutional objectives.
  • Supervise and guide members of the engagement team to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
  • Manage data collection and analysis to gain insights into audience needs and continuously refine engagement strategies based on feedback.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field (Marketing or Communications), or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • A minimum six years experience in stakeholder/alumni relations, fundraising, communications, or marketing.
  • Strong leadership skills, including project management, collaboration, and team supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency in relationship management tools such as CRM systems.
