We are a leading manufacturer of precision machinery and equipment, seeking an experienced High Precision Machinist to join our team.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, measuring and laying out work pieces in preparation for assembly, and reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables. You will also be expected to fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments, and utilize hand and power tools.
Equipment and Machinery ExperienceYou will have extensive experience working with boring machines, cylindrical grinders, milling machines, planers, sawing machines, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, paid bi-weekly, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
