Teaching Opportunity at the British Council

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English language educator to join our team in Greece. As a Young Learner Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality English language instruction to students aged 4-17.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging 3-5 hour young learner lessons, incorporating a four-skill approach and whole child development.
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and counsel students as needed.
  • Contribute to the evaluation, development, and improvement of course materials and related services.
  • Deliver courses to agreed timetables, plan, and manage courses purposefully, and in accordance with syllabus and learning aims.
  • Complete related administrative tasks, such as student registers and parent communications.
  • Provide teaching-cover as required for absent colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate and/or University degree.
  • Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Certificate TESOL.
  • A minimum of 2-year post-certificate experience, teaching a variety of age groups and levels.
