Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English language educator to join our team at the British Council. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality English language instruction to young learners aged 4-17.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and holistic English language lessons to meet the needs of our students.
  • Course Development: Contribute to the development of English language course materials to ensure they are relevant and effective.
  • Classroom Management: Manage English language classes effectively, providing feedback and support to students as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential Qualifications: Undergraduate or University degree, Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Certificate TESOL.
  • Desirable Qualifications: CELTA YL Extension, TYLEC, or DELTA.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-certificate teaching experience across a variety of age groups.

Contract and Working Hours:

  • Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract for 10 months with option of renewal.
