Charge Nurse LVN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse LVN to join our team at Ontario Grove Healthcare & Wellness Centre. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating daily administrative duties, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Duties: Coordinate daily schedules, nursing assignments, and delegation of resident care.
- Supervision: Supervise and support nursing staff, monitor compliance with facility policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
- Clinical Duties: Maintain overall shift operation, coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, and ensure the implementation of individualized care plans.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, and other department supervisors and staff.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in the facility's Quality Assurance program, assist in correcting findings and deficiencies, and ensure the protection of health information.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or an approved LVN program.
- Current nursing license, in good standing with the State licensing board.
- Experience in a long-term care setting, preferred.
- Strong qualities of leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide patient care in accordance with applicable standards, policies, and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable nursing principles, practices, and standards of care.
- Valid CPR certification.
