Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Woods Park Community & Retirement Living. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Your passion for delivering high-quality food service and commitment to resident satisfaction will make you an invaluable asset to our community.


Key Responsibilities:
• Follow proper food handling techniques and maintain a clean and safe food environment
• Date, label, and store food properly, ensuring optimal freshness and quality
• Assist in meal preparation, serving, and cleaning, adhering to infection control and quality management standards
• Support all aspects of food service, including taking orders, setting and clearing tables, and maintaining a clean dining area
• Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our community


Requirements:
• Must maintain a current Safe Food Handler's Certificate
• Ability to operate institutional cooking equipment, such as dishwashers and meat slicers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with residents, staff, and vendors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision
