Front Desk Hotel Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at the Colonial Hotel in Grand Bend. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
- Communication: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, answer telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Technology: Utilize multi-line switchboard, word processing software, central reservation system (CRS), and spreadsheet software to manage guest information and hotel operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
