We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at the Colonial Hotel in Grand Bend.
Job Summary:The Front Desk Hotel Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room assignments, and maintaining accurate records. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Clerical Duties: Perform tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide customer service.
- Computer Skills: Utilize multi-line switchboard, word processing software, and central reservation systems.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced hotel environment.
