We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at the Colonial Hotel in Grand Bend.
Job Summary:The Front Desk Hotel Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room assignments, and maintaining accurate records. If you have a passion for delivering outstanding service and working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, investigate complaints, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various administrative tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide customer service to guests.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Experience an asset.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in multi-line switchboard, word processing software, and central reservation systems.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
