Front Desk Hotel Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at Colonial Hotel in Grand Bend. As a Front Desk Hotel Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- Process group arrivals and departures
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Provide general information about points of interest in the area
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
- Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Provide customer service
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
The Front Desk Hotel Clerk will work in a hotel environment and will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
