Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sector-wide subcontract management strategy, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with supply chain leadership and functional peers to drive process improvements and optimize subcontract management practices.
  • Define and implement training roadmaps and career development frameworks for subcontract employees, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to support the company's growth.
  • Lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
  • Support strategic new business pursuit activities, leveraging expertise in subcontracted systems and services to drive business growth.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate Supply Chain Subcontract risks, while identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including supply chain leadership and functional peers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive subcontract maturity and business growth.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required with a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Minimum of 15 years of prior related experience, with a bachelor's degree or graduate degree in a related field.
  • Expertise in subcontracts management in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing teams and managing change in an organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree in a related field.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and technical aptitude, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.
  • Certified Subcontract Manager (CSCM) or ISM Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification.
