Job Summary:

Harris Geospatial Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Program Management Director to lead our Program Management function. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing the overall performance of our Program Management function.

About the Role:

This leadership role is crucial for driving business growth and ensuring the successful execution of our programs. The Program Management Director will oversee the Program Management function, ensuring adherence to company processes, policies, and systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Program Execution: Manage the performance and execution of our Program Management function, including all phases of program development and delivery.
  • Business Growth: Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives, including revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow.
  • Cost, Schedule, and Technical Performance: Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of our programs.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Manage a team of Program Managers, Senior Managers, and other Program Management Office employees.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement PMO policies, procedures, and methodologies to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Governance Framework: Develop and manage the PMO's governance framework, ensuring clear decision-making processes and accountability.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial Business Experience: Experience with commercial business models, preferably in the defense industry.
  • Program Management Experience: Prior program management and proposal management experience, with EVMS experience being beneficial.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven experience to lead, engage, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Superior strategic, organizational, analytical, and abstract reasoning skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a strong orientation to details, and the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Education and Experience: Requires advanced business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability to lead business areas or functional teams. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience is required, with an MBA being preferred.
