About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Protection Investigator to join our team at Compagnie de la Baie d'Hudson. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will be responsible for identifying and investigating operational deficiencies related to asset protection and implementing effective solutions to reduce shortage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively assist in the coordination of asset protection initiatives and ensure timely and accurate execution of all related tasks.
  • Effectively communicate asset protection initiatives to store teams and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct store audits and detect and arrest shoplifters, completing related documentation as required.
  • Implement Asset Protection procedures to reduce shortage and generate new ideas and solutions to everyday challenges.
  • Approach issues and identify opportunities from a unique perspective and continuously look for opportunities to improve processes.
Requirements
  • Valid region/market specific security license (exception: Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan license not required).
  • Awareness of retail procedures and criminal civil proceeding process is an asset.
  • Full flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekends.
