Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring that they receive exceptional service and a positive experience.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely information to management.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Our fast-paced environment requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
