We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Ramen Arashi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including Japanese cuisine.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific needs.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our culinary team.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
