About the Opportunity

Foremost is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to various locations around the world to service Foremost equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Startup of new Foremost equipment at customer locations

• Inspection, diagnosis, and repair of equipment at customer locations

• Adjust equipment and repairing/replacing defective parts, components, or systems according to the scope of work

• Communicate with customers to define the scope of repairs

• Develop and maintain cooperative, customer service-focused relationships with internal and external customers

• Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician License preferred

• Experience with Hydraulic, Electrical, and Mechanical Systems

• Working knowledge of drilling equipment and transportation vehicles an asset

• Self-motivated, fast learner, and ability to work independently

• Comfortable working in our manufacturing facility/shop as well as in the field

• Ability to work on call and overtime when required

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Valid Driver's license (abstract required)

• Valid Passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions (at times with little or no notice prior)

• Safety Training an asset but will train as required
