Job Summary
Arauco SSM is seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team in producing high-quality MDF panels. As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of MDF panels within established parameters.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment to produce MDF panels, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Perform daily rounds to ensure equipment is functioning properly and complete preventative maintenance tasks.
- Conduct quality inspections and document results to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Participate in team business meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility is an asset.
- Valid G2 license required.
- Excellent safety work habits and knowledge, with a strong commitment to wearing personal protective equipment.
- Positive attitude and behavior, with a willingness to work shift work and contribute to a high-performing team environment.
