At China Steel Inc., we are seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools and equipment to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to ensure accurate production.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet specific requirements.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of machine tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English.
