Job Summary

China Steel Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machinery, ensuring high-quality production and adhering to strict tolerances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to set up and operate machine tools.
  • Repair and maintain precision machinery, including calibrating measuring instruments and documenting deviations from specifications.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
  • Verify dimensions of parts and products using precision measuring instruments, and maintain inspection records.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operation and high-quality output.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of precision machining and manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
