Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at 2063412 Investment LP. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a nursing home setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility. Additionally, you will be required to maintain a safe and clean environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
  • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Collect specimens
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Provide personal care and companionship
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Feed or assist in feeding
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Tuberculosis test
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is also required.
