Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at 2063412 Investment LP. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents in a nursing home setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility. Additionally, you will provide emotional support and companionship to our residents, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Collect specimens and perform other tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Tuberculosis test
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to our residents in a nursing home setting. You will work under pressure, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will also be required to lift, bend, and crouch as needed.
