Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at 2063412 Investment LP. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients
  • Transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher
  • Collect specimens
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Provide personal care
  • Provide companionship
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Feed or assist in feeding
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Tuberculosis test
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel.
