About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fitter Specialist to join our team at PRECISION LASER CUT. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Operate and maintain manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, to produce high-quality welds.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications to maintain the highest level of quality control.
  • Operate and maintain hoisting and lifting equipment to safely and efficiently move materials and equipment.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced, industrial environment with a focus on precision and quality. The role requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
