About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fitter Specialist to join our team at PRECISION LASER CUT. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment operations.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Material Handling: Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC), and previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
Work Environment

As a Welder-Fitter Specialist at PRECISION LASER CUT, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have good hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent education and training.
  • Language and Work Schedule: Fluency in English, with a 40-hour workweek.
