Job Title: Millwright
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our maintenance team at Emterra Group. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting and performing repairs, and performing preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, hydraulic units, pneumatic units, pumps, and overhauls.
- Read and interpret drawings and schematics, and have knowledge of PLC, control systems, and automated programming.
- Respond to routine breakdowns and repair issues.
- Ensure high plant reliability by performing quality routine machine and plant maintenance.
- Ensure optimum performance by effectively and consistently setting production machines.
- Deliver maintenance KPIs to ensure visibility of maintenance performance and required improvement for sites.
- Oxy acetylene cutting and burning is considered an asset.
Requirements:
- Fully licensed Journeyperson - A valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright trade certificate for the province of Ontario (433A).
- Experience: 4 or more years of industrial experience is preferred.
- Mechanical background with a drive to further develop and learn, with a safety-first and resilient attitude to multi-task and effectively execute tasks.
- Communication skills are key to being successful, as you will have to communicate with a number of different internal customers and work as part of a team.
- Demonstrate a background involving maintenance of a busy production line, preferably, or maintenance involving both mechanical and electrical machinery.
- Ability to problem-solve and be ideally suited to a fast-paced environment.
