Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Specialist to join our team in industrial maintenance. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on various machinery and equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining/overhauling, and/or repairing various machinery/equipment as scheduled or required.
  • Fabricating items as required using various welding techniques.
  • Operating machines including lathes, small milling, surface grinders, etc.
  • Troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic problems as required or assigned.
  • Identifying and recording any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • A recognized Certificate of Qualification.
  • 3+ years' experience working as a licensed millwright.
  • Advanced Hydraulics knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Hydraulic and Mechanical presses is an asset.
  • Welding experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Milling Machines is an asset.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 based on industry standards and location.
