Job Summary:

To install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, examine, replace, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic devices, mechanical drive assemblies, and other equipment components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using technical manuals and schematics to identify causes and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure efficient equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth equipment operation and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Valid Provincial Industrial Millwright's license, with knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Industrial Millwright, preferably in automotive or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex equipment issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
