We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at BASF Canada Inc. in Saskatoon, SK.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving accelerated growth of our agricultural product portfolio through strategic account management and relationship building with key distributors and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement value-based account plans to maximize sales opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Maintain and build strong business relationships with designated distributors and linked accounts.
  • Communicate and promote our marketing, sales, and technical programs to designated accounts and key personnel.
  • Initiate and coordinate strategic planning sessions to develop and implement business/action plans on a regional basis.
  • Collaborate with the National Account Manager to resolve issues and achieve sales goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or related field (e.g., Agriculture, Business).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in field sales, management, marketing, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturer/distributor business relationships and proven track record of success selling to distributors.
  • Demonstrated budget management skills in a sales environment and ability to self-manage time and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to develop successful business relationships.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
