Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Power Systems Engineer to join our team at the CA09 Labatt Brewing Company Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our power systems.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Operate ammonia, CO2, Compressed air, Cogeneration, Boiler and Steam systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  2. Effectively operate HVAC / chiller unit for proper ventilation and cooling.
  3. Perform preventive maintenance routines and repair completions.
  4. Maintain documentation updates.
  5. Respect plant policy (Safety, Environment, Quality, Operations).
  6. Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • A Valid 2nd class Engineering certificate is required.
  • Minimum 3 years Powerhouse Engineer experience - manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic equipment an asset.
  • Good understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent sense of urgency, work ethic and attendance record.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $45.63-$55.00 per hour, depending on experience. This includes a starting rate of $40.96/hour with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
