Job Opportunity:

Smith + Andersen is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and engineering audiovisual, telecommunications, security, and intelligent building systems for our clients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiovisual, telecommunications, or security design and engineering, with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for producing all necessary deliverables for project completion, including tender documentation, design briefs, cost documentation, site reports, and computer models. You will also work closely with project managers to prepare all system engineering concepts and ensure proper coordination of documents with the internal and external project team.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of experience in audiovisual, telecommunications, or security design and engineering
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, CAD/Revit, MS Project, and Visio
- Full understanding of codes and standards relevant to the project
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external project teams
