About the Role

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a highly skilled Donor Services Representative to join our dynamic Donor Centre team in Moncton, New Brunswick.

The Donor Centre team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by collecting donor blood in a safe manner to enable safe products which save lives every day.

In this role, you will be providing excellent customer service by greeting donors, confirming appointments, rebooking donors at events, and serving potential donors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Confirm appointments, rebook donors at events, and serve potential donors.
  • Work collaboratively with the Donor Centre team to ensure a successful donor centre event.
  • Ensure the workstation is ready and working properly to support the donor centre, including setting up booths, tables, and other equipment for mobile events.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school.
  • One year of experience in a hospitality or customer service-oriented environment or previous experience working with volunteers.
  • Technical skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems and programs.
  • A second language would be considered an asset to support a positive donor experience.
  • Physical requirements for the role include the ability to lift weights up to 10 kg (22 lbs.).

What You Can Expect

  • Shifts/hours will vary. You must be flexible to accommodate assigned shifts which are based on operational needs.
  • This role primarily serves our Moncton permanent donor centre on a 5 day a week basis. There may be occasional need to travel to mobile donor events with varying shifts.
