Job Summary
Medicentres is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients' physical and mental health, prescribing and administering medications, and advising patients on healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical and mental health and consult with other medical practitioners as needed
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Advise patients on healthcare options and provide support on health and lifestyle issues
- Report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health-related information to government authorities
- Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care and provide acute care management
Requirements
- Valid licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Experience in family medicine or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
