About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures and provide excellent patient care. As a key member of our team, you'll work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to obtain the best diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to obtain the best diagnostic results.
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Review and analyze images for clarity and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to safety standards, including infection control and patient safety protocols.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited diagnostic imaging program or equivalent.
- Registration with CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario).
- Membership with Sonography Canada, with Canadian credentials or actively completing Sonography Canada's Canadian Clinical Skills Assessment (CCSA) to obtain credentials.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in ultrasound scanning.
