UGE International: Tax and Treasury Manager

UGE International is a leading developer, owner, and operator of community and commercial solar and energy storage projects in the United States. With over a decade of experience in the industry, we are at the forefront of accelerating the transition to clean, reliable energy.

The Tax and Treasury Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and reporting for the organization, including tax equity structures and multi-state project entities from both an accounting and tax perspective. Additionally, this role will work closely with our owners to develop tax structures and take on overall responsibility for treasury management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax compliance strategies to ensure efficient corporate structure and tax equity structures
  • Prepare, file, and communicate all annual tax returns and related documents
  • Ensure overall tax compliance, including income, sales and use, franchise, and other taxes
  • Support tax-related aspects of financial reporting and analysis
  • Strategize and oversee treasury operations, including cash management and investment
Requirements:
  • Practical experience with tax equity structures and US tax matters
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with owners and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
