Job Title: Treasury Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support for assigned lines of business and/or at the total segment level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to build sound forecasts and planning results.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Manage the development of conclusions and courses of action to rectify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key emerging financial trends and measurement of key performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
  • Excellent financial analysis skills and ability to draw appropriate conclusions from large amounts of financial data.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting and tax practices.
  • Understanding of related technology requirements and needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting governance and control activities in Treasury, Change Management, Risk Management, Internal Control testing.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, strong organizational skills, quality assurance and ability partner with stakeholders.
