Job Title: Sr. Planner

Aecon is a leading infrastructure development company seeking a highly skilled Sr. Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect and integrate work scope into the total project plan
  • Review and analyze project scope representation in schedules
  • Support resource planning and analysis, forecasting resource requirements
  • Perform productivity analysis and verify results
  • Establish productivity basis for estimates and reviews labor estimates for reasonableness
  • Prepare progress reports and dashboards to provide project status updates
  • Analyze schedule variance, float, and trending, and monitor schedule KPIs
  • Develop progress measurement processes and analyze progress and performance data
  • Manage schedule change notices and forecast project impact
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years planning experience in mega projects with Rail experience
  • Proven experience and ability in planning, scheduling, and managing complex projects
  • Expert level knowledge of project planning and scheduling software
