Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at H&A Contractor Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure that all team members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure that all projects are completed within budget.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is a safe and healthy environment for all team members.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, firing, and promotions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure that all construction projects are completed according to plan.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to ensure that all team members are working together effectively to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Portuguese language proficiency.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy, dusty environment.
  • Ability to work in a construction setting.
  • Ability to supervise 3-4 people.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to wear steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
