Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at H&A Contractor Inc.

Job Summary:

The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material deliveries, equipment maintenance, and site inspections.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and provide guidance to junior staff members.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and instruct individuals, including training and development programs.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Permanent employment with a reputable construction company.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
Work Environment:

The Construction Site Supervisor will work outdoors in a noisy, dusty environment, with regular exposure to construction equipment and materials.

Physical Capabilities:

The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure, with regular deadlines and tight schedules.

Own Tools/Equipment:

The Construction Site Supervisor will be required to provide their own steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
