Position Overview

As a Construction Site Supervisor at H&A Contractor Inc, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects and ensuring that operations run smoothly. Your expertise will guide the team in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a supervisory role within the construction industry
Skills and Competencies
  • Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is an asset
  • Work Environment: Outdoor settings that may be noisy and dusty
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate construction workers and projects
  • Schedule activities and manage timelines effectively
  • Oversee training programs for apprentices
  • Provide training or arrange for necessary training sessions
  • Estimate project costs and required materials
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Recommend personnel actions based on performance
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Lead and instruct team members to achieve project goals
Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 individuals, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
