Job Description
As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workers and ensuring they meet high standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and motivating your team: You will work closely with your team members to understand their needs and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Managing safety and quality: You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest quality standards.
- Improving productivity: You will work with your team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Maintaining customer delivery promises: You will work closely with your team to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time and to the correct location.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in employee management and performance management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in process improvement or lean techniques
