Job Description

**Job Title:** Warehouse Clerk

**Job Summary:** Guillevin International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and stocking merchandise, preparing orders, and shipping goods in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a tidy and organized manner, with merchandise placed in the correct location.
  • Monitor and maintain productivity and safety standards in the warehouse and yard.
  • Verify and process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Offload trucks, inspect merchandise for damage or missing items, and report any discrepancies.
  • Receive and verify shipments, and update inventory records accordingly.
  • Locate and retrieve customer back-orders, and notify customers of their arrival.
  • Arrange and re-arrange stock as needed to maintain an attractive and well-organized display.
  • Pick and pack goods, and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Pack goods for damage-free shipment.
  • Ensure the warehouse remains tidy and organized, maintaining productivity and safety standards.
  • Provide sales support at the counter as needed, greeting customers, preparing orders, and performing other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet key deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive professional attitude, adaptable and energetic.
  • Demonstrated initiative to self-improvement of business and product skills.
  • Good PC skills, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proactive in finding ways to improve productivity in the warehouse.
  • Ability to handle items under 50lbs.
  • Valid forklift certificate is an asset; otherwise, training will be provided.
