POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Operations Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing various warehouse functions, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics coordination. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that operational best practices are implemented and followed by all team members.

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday, 11am - 7pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring tasks such as receiving, order fulfillment, inventory checks, and shipping are executed efficiently to meet service standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members to promote the smooth flow of materials within the warehouse.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires through hands-on training and mentorship.
  • Encourage adherence to established warehouse procedures, addressing any issues with the operations supervisor as needed.
  • Lead daily briefings to address team concerns and enhance operational performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
  • Act as the technical expert for workflow processes and RF scanning systems.
  • Ensure timely resolution of RF IT issues by coordinating with IT support.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Assist in monitoring productivity and quality metrics to achieve operational goals.
  • Complete daily shift reports and review them with the operations supervisor.
  • Be flexible to work additional shifts during peak periods or to cover for absences.
  • Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the operations supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of three years of experience in warehouse operations, with a strong focus on safety practices.
  • Familiarity with RF-based Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
