About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Advisor to join our team at Nicole McCann - Desjardins Insurance Agent. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation and Appointment Scheduling: Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Marketing and Sales: Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, develop sales strategies, and build strong relationships with customers.
Requirements
  • Sales Experience: Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Successful Track Record: Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Problem-Solving and Customer Service: Proactive in problem-solving, dedicated to customer service, ability to multi-task, and ability to make presentations to potential customers.
  • Professional Certifications: Property & Casualty License (OTL) and Life Insurance License (LLQP) must be obtained before start date. Reimbursement for courses and licenses after 1 year with Agency.

  • Team Dynamics: The Agency currently has eight team members with a range of experience from 24 years to 2 years.
  • Benefits: We offer paid vacation time, paid sick days, and benefits.
  • Compensation: $45,000 base salary + commission + bonus, with the potential to earn $60,000 - $80,000 by meeting target levels.
