A&W Restaurants Inc is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, quality, and consistency in our restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain A&W standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Manage inventory, labor costs, and other operational expenses to achieve budget targets.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager and HR to recruit, hire, and develop high-performing team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to improve employee performance.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and A&W standards to continuously improve restaurant operations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operating systems, inventory management, and labor cost control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
