A&W Restaurants Inc. is seeking a skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at our Esquimalt location. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and cash handling.
  • Lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Implement A&W standards and policies, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency in all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a restaurant supervisory role, preferably with A&W or a similar fast-food chain.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, employees, and management.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to lead meetings and provide presentations to employees and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
