Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the strategic direction for AI research and product development operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead customer engagement and research, defining policies to ensure technical initiatives meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the executive team and partners to prioritize short and long-term investments in AI research and development.
  • Oversee AI research and product development operations, including the product lifecycle from conception to deployment, and allocate personnel, financial, and material resources accordingly.
  • Define and direct the development and implementation of a technical roadmap and strategy for AI product development and lifecycle implementation, leveraging insights from customer engagements.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest AI and deep learning papers from leading conferences, such as NeurIPS and ICLR, and apply this knowledge to inform AI research and development.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and delegate authority to subordinate managers to ensure NLP features meet market needs and create a competitive edge.
  • Analyze product data to understand usage and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and control AI product development and production schedules, including defining major milestones, identifying critical paths, tracking project progress, and adjusting production plans as needed.
  • Represent the organization at conferences and other public speaking engagements.
  • Provide direction, leadership, and guidance to the AI product development team, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Manage the recruitment and training of AI product development personnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior management role within the AI industry.
  • 5+ years of Machine Learning research, software design, and development experience.
  • Advanced AI and Machine Learning experience with a wide range of AI techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and self-supervised learning.
  • Strong command of NLP techniques, including language representation models, dialogue systems, information retrieval, and information extraction.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard Large Language Models (LLMs) and architectures, and development of frameworks that include TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks for building, training, and deploying language models.
  • Experience with AWS and Google Cloud computing platforms.
Compensation and Benefits

$270,000 to $300,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
