We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at CHAMELEON PAINTING LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced painters and decorators in delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Painting and Decorating: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces under the supervision of experienced painters and decorators.
- Equipment and Machinery Operation: Assist in the operation of painting equipment and machinery, including roller painting and brush painting.
- Task Management: Assist in managing tasks and priorities to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Willing to relocate and work in various locations, including new construction sites.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and initiative.
