Job Title: Painter and Decorator Helper

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at Trident Painting Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist our experienced painters and decorators with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, mixing and applying paints and coatings, and performing routine maintenance work.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and sanding surfaces
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Smooth rough edges using belt sanders or smoothing wheels
  • Sand, trim, grind, or clean products into final form using hand tools
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Clean work areas and maintain a safe and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Experience in a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and reliability
